03:56 PM ET 01.26 | When former Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone accepted the same position with the Buffalo Bills, it was immediately believed that he would bring his college quarterback Ryan Nassib along for the NFL ride. Rumors swirling had Nassib as one of the hottest rising NFL Draft prospects, but the news making the rounds in NFL scout circles is that Nassib isn't even the most highly touted signal-caller in Mobile. In fact, the Bills aren't as high on Nassib as it was initially believed and there is no guarantee that the team will reunite him with Marrone. Nassib is still considered a borderline first-round pick, just not the apple of Buffalo's eye that many had thought.

Some guy that will get drafted way too early by some team that needs a QB.

Saw him play today in Senior Bowl, not impressive at all! If Buffalo drafts him they should wait at least to the 5th or 6th round, the only value he has to a quick start would be to his former coach who's now at Buffalo, otherwise he looks like a project not a prospect! But what do I know?

yup

I wouldn't take him in the top round, but neither were Brady, Kaepernick, or Wilson. Too many want results immediately and judge careers on a weekly basis.

The Bills need a QB, and Ryan Nassib has the potential and talent to do well. But the Bills looked lousy on both sides of the field, they should trade for more picks.

upto I saw the check ov $4514, I didn't believe ...

I've got it narrowed down to two possibilities. Either this guy isn't native to the English tongue...or Fleming Island, FL has some serious deficiencies in their school system.

January 27, 2013  10:27 AM ET

Buffalo has so many holes to fill elsewhere, but if they are stuck on taking a QB in the first round I would take Wilson out of Arkansas.

Lets see, how many teams attempted to win with a QB versis O-Line and defensive improvement ? and how many did it work out for ?

This is a very good T&R the interns post a rumoer that the Bills want him, then when it turns out they don't they post that the bills don't want him but someone else will. Tawn
