08:52 AM ET 01.27 | It is rare to hear a team publicly admit it's time to panic, acknowledging that their season is spiraling out of control. Yet this is where the Panthers find themselves after a humiliating 7-1 home loss to the Flyers on Saturday night. "You have to panic right now," winger Tomas Fleischmann said quietly. "We have to bring everything we have. It's a short season. We have to panic right now." The Panthers are most definitely sweating after losing their fourth consecutive game just five games into the season.

Harry will be glad the Flames won. Hudler is a good 3rd or 4th line addition, not afraid to go in the corners. I wonder why do they call them corners.

I suggested to Danny that somebody should introduce Kessel to the net but apparently the NHL has a new net supplier named Corners and he won't go near it.

even in the canes game, they dominated everywhere except the scoreboard. The Panthers are a step slow everywhere. I can live with not being good since we finally made the playoffs last season. We are blooding a new prospect every game. The future is bright.

I know it's easy to poke at the Panthers, but at least give them credit for their opening night 5-1 win. They aren't 0-4...
