Sixers in giddy anticipation

07:26 AM ET 01.28 | Soon, the wait will be over, Philadelphia. [The Sixers are] more optimistic every day that [Andrew Bynum's] debut is very close. As the Sixers practiced Sunday, Bynum put in his mileage on the zero gravity treadmill. He has been participating in shootarounds on game days and also taking part in noncontact drills on the court. According to general manager Tony DiLeo, the team believes that Bynum could begin full practice by the end of this week and might be in uniform shortly thereafter barring a setback to his creaky knees. ... The coaching staff has ramped up its preparation for getting Bynum into a game, and throughout the organization there is a giddy sense, whether warranted or not, that it will happen surprisingly soon.

Hope he's ready, Philly fans will not go easy on him. I know that Bynum when healthy can be an asset; this is a new group of guys he's playing with and the situation will be different; so there will be an adjustment period; be patient or should I say "give the guy a chance on the court."

In hindsight this Bynum injury was the best thing to happen to Holiday and Turner. It sort of forced them to step their games up. Now we are trying to get that 8th seed

Um....Greg Oden never won or contributed to a championship or played a whole season...that is kind of a stretch....

Not really a good comparison. Oden never made that all star team or won a title.

Stay out of my head bro...lol!

Maybe when you realize I was talking about his health issues you will understand my post. Could care less what they did on the court cause half the time they were on the bench. Duh

Maybe youll understand my post better when you realize I was talking about their health issues. Half of the career has been on the bench & I could care less about how many rings or all stars game they played in.
