07:35 AM ET 01.28 | Five-star running back Derrick Green had a pair of SEC schools on his list but chose the Wolverines over the weekend. [Green] slipped into a blue No. 27 Michigan jersey in front of family and friends and announced his decision to play for the Wolverines on Saturday at an afternoon press conference in front of family and friends. Green was nervous for his announcement which was also streamed across the internet, but his most emotional conversation came earlier in the day when the Richmond (Va.) Hermitage standout told Brady Hoke he was coming to Michigan. "He was real excited," Green said. "I kept him on his toes. But when I told him [Saturday] he was just astound and actually started crying. It was crazy, it was an unbelievable experience."

Much will depend on the development of the kids Hoke recruited last year for O line. Losing both guards and the center is tough to take. Lewan staying is huge for TSUN. If the O line develops quickly, they will be competitive.

competitive? Look the schedule for 2013, it's very favorable for them. I expect they probably lose only two games.

Green is a huge pickup for UofM. They were sorely lacking in the RB position. Look at the list of offers he had (including 'Bama).

Since ND has lost 3 of 4 to Michigan I know why they dropped them.
The future is bright in A2.
After OSU and Michigan, ND will be 3rd best team in midwest . . . maybe starting this year.
