01:22 PM ET 01.28 | Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is one of the bright young stars in the NBA, but he was left off of the Western Conference All-Star squad, despite being one of the league's best shooters. Curry is big part of his team's improvement this season, but he was not rewarded by the coaches when they voted for the reserves. Now, Curry is getting some recognition for his pure shooting ability and has been invited to display his skills at the three-point shooting competition at 2013 NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston, Texas. Curry would be a favorite in the three-point shooting contest, but he is not sure he wants to make the trip to Houston just to participate in the shootout. If he does choose to participate, it will be fun to see him light up the competition. An injury to a Western Conference star could all but guarantee Curry a spot on the roster and his participation in the three-point competition.
