03:24 PM ET 01.28 | After the Super Bowl ends and the offseason finally sets in, the Baltimore Ravens will be faced with several tough decisions regarding their roster for the 2013 season. A few big names will be up for free agency, including veteran safety Ed Reed, who is already being mentioned with the likes of the New England Patriots.

Tampering!!!

Why would anybody take a chance on a player who said he wasn't certain he wanted to play in 12, maybe he will win Sunday and ride off somewhere.

It must be a slow news day.

He's already said he is playing in '13. And Little Bill loves the dude.

As bad as the Patriots secondary is - I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up there.

I was thinking the same thing and the photo looks like evidence.

Would you rather have a Tebow or Favre thread?

Good, I can still hate him then....

Can't see Ed wanting to leave or the Ravens letting him go

I don't know about salary cap implications or anything like that, but if Reed is playing next year I seriously doubt that it won't be for the Raisins.

Me neither.

Ed Reed is The Ravens, imagine him and Revis?

Favre threads were always good for a few laughs.

Indeed. The most I've heard Belichick say about any player was Ed Reed, and he had nothing but praise for the guy.

Reed is a beast. Hard to imagine him as anything but a first-ballot Hall of Famer. Also hard to imagine him in anything but Ravens colors.

Watch the Ravens play-offs game against the Broncs and the Patriots and you wonder why both Manning and Brady rarely threw in Reed's direction then you tell me if he is still "too old."
