04:18 PM ET 01.28 | Could Allen Iverson make another push to finish his career in the NBA? The Texas Legends think so. The D-League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks has been pushing to sign Iverson this season, and after jumping to the top of the waiver order, the organization is once again in pursuit of the former All-Star. Iverson has refused longterm contracts overseas in hopes of returning to the NBA, and the sell for the Legends is pitting its recent success in helping former NBA players do just that. The team most recently signed veteran point guard Mike James before assigning him to the Mavericks, and James has since signed a guaranteed contract with Dallas. Texas has also signed former NBA players Delonte West and Rashad McCants to its roster.

If Iverson can get it together he can fill in the void left by Rondo. Marbury is still playing... maybe Celts can try to recruit him as well.
