Ethier 'entertained' by trade rumors

Frankly, I'd rather have Ethier than Bourne. Ethier is 8 months younger than Bourne and hits for more power and has a significantly higher OPS. Bourne's speed game generally does not age well. Why the hell would the Dodgers pay Boras money to Borne then deal Ethier? It doesn't make $en$e.

Not to mention that Bourne is a Boras client so it's not like they would be shedding salary.

Don't know about that but he is a very intelligent gent who is very astute at using propaganda to his client's, and therefore his, advantage.

A more important question might be, why would the Dodgers want to trade Ethier?? He has had (7) very solid seasons, is only 30 years old and is a former Glove Glove award winner!!!

It's hard to believe that a team would give up its first round draft pick for one year of Michael Bourn. Although crazier things have happened...

Ethier hits .290/.350/.500 with 50 doubles and 30 dingers this year. Dodger lineup has no easy outs. Pitchers facing them will get worn down faacing the top of the dodgers line up, when they get to the six hole, Ethier is going to wear them out. This will be a break out year for him.

Good comment and I totally agree!!! I don't understand where this article (trade rumors) is coming from??? What will/would the Dodgers ask in return for Ethier???? The Dodgers already have solid pitching and their defense is good.
