08:07 AM ET 01.29 | At least theoretically awash in cash, the Dodgers may not have made many friends in the league office. Major League Baseball has major concerns over [the Dodgers'] record new TV deal, and unless an agreement can be reached within a few months, their differences may have to be resolved in federal court, according to a high-ranking MLB official with direct knowledge of the negotiations. The official, who spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the talks, said the dispute is focused on the revenue-sharing implications of the Dodgers' deal with Time Warner Cable that guarantees them at least $7 billion over 25 years.

Bud - do you understand your own agreements? My guess is that the investment group that paid for the dodgers - led by a real money manager - did. I bet they found a way to limit their exposure to revenue sharing by setting up a network - Kind of like the yankees and redsox. (insert sarcastic shocked face) Bud I have a feeling they are not going to just do as you say "because you want them to"

Not sure about the other three's local deals, but the Sox "local TV money" comes from NESN, a network they and the Bruins own, not a deal with a cable company. I don't disagree that Bud would lose this argument, but it's apples and oranges comparing NESN to Time Warner.

Wiseup: Selig should read his serenity prayer. Let me change the things that I can change, and still try to change things that I cannot change. What have I got to lo$e, Amen.
