02:32 PM ET 01.29 | Ottawa Senators forward Jason Spezza will miss the team's game against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night due to an upper-body injury. As of Tuesday afternoon, the Senators were not certain as to how or when Spezza suffered the injury. However, they believed it occurred at some point during the team's contest against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday afternoon. There is no time-table for when Spezza will be able to return. He missed practice on Monday and Tuesday. It is possible that he will not be available for Wednesday night's game against the Montreal Canadiens. During morning skate on Tuesday, Peter Regin took his place as first line center.

Remember when the Sens didn't win it all and he was talked as the sacrificial lamb and was to be traded. Don't hear those stories these days and sure would like him on my team.

Yeah.....now that he's grown up. Good player, but he has really come into his own since Heatley and co left.

True......Heatley sure is making himself look more and more like a mercenary that's for sure. Selfish pr!ck$ don't make it too far though.

Heater went to Ottawa and screwed them, then he went to San Jose and screwed them. Now he's screwing the Wild...although in fairness the Wild have never been good (and hopefully with Suter-Parise they never will).
