03:00 PM ET 01.29 | Big East commissioner Mike Aresco said on Monday that the conference was looking to add a 12th team. The conference is currently at 10 teams, with Navy scheduled to become the 11th in 2015. No candidates were named, but apparently the conference is no longer interested in expanding west of Texas. Aresco also said that the Big East is looking to sign a new TV deal soon, and that deal could come between more than one network.

The NCAA needs to just do away with all the Div 1A conferences and go to Regional Divisions. You know North East, Mid Atlantic, South Altantic. South East, South West, North West, etc.....

The NCAA does not create conferences. It's the other way around. The schools/ conferences created the NCAA.
