Hot QB recruit commits to Duke
New Duke coach David Cutcliffe's reputation as a mentor of quarterbacks paid off this week with the commitment of Sean Renfree of Scottsdale, Ariz. Renfree, 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, passed for almost 3,400 yards with 41 touchdowns and six interceptions as a senior while leading Notre Dame Prep to a state 4A-II title. Scout.com rates him as the 10th-best quarterback prospect in the nation. He visited Tennessee for camp last summer when Cutcliffe, who coached Peyton and Eli Manning in college, was offensive coordinator there.

Has he figured out yet which of his linemen will be pulling his jersey back over his shoulder pads? Will it be the same one who picks the clumps of sod out of his facemask?

He'll be a good one for Duke. Unfortunately, because they are still Duke this kid will never know winning.

Excellent choice of schools. If only he could take classes at Duke and play for another school's football team, he'd have it made.

It's going to take a little more than a good QB for Duke to turn the program around.

Hey Browardcane,
If you can't get 1000 on your SATs or a 3.0 in high school you're retarded. I did that in a pot-induced haze

Duke? Um, did he consider Hawaii? 6'3"? Sounds like he got it all wrong. It was supposed to be a basketball full-ride...right?

After your NFL career pays you millions you will have the satisfaction of know;
you still can't read or do math.
Where did all that money go? Perhaps your highly paid, MA from UPENN, swindled it with a banc account in the Isle of mann.
FYI for you: that is a place.
