Fedor vs. Lesnar nearly happened

09:50 PM ET 01.29 | UFC President Dana White spoke to the media after the UFC on FOX 6 press conference and said he came close to making a proposed Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko bout happen. Despite reports months ago that a meeting with Brock Lesnar had gone poorly, White revealed it had actually gone well. The problem, White explained, wasn't that Emelianenko had retired, but that his father had passed away. Once that happened, Emelianenko had declared he'd never fight again. White told the media had the fight happened, it would've headlined an event at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
