08:08 AM ET 01.30 | Turns out, it will take three to tango. The final hurdle for the salary dump of Memphis Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay to the Toronto Raptors hinges on finding a third team to absorb the expiring contract of Raptors guard Jose Calderon, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. The Grizzlies have inquired with multiple teams over the past several days, searching for a willing partner to facilitate a three-team deal, sources said. Despite organizational proclamations to the contrary, new Memphis ownership and management is determined to unload Gay and the $37 million owed him as soon as possible, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Calderon has a $10.5 million expiring contract.

Its a disgrace if the 4th best team in the west salary dumps. This must be voided by stern

I actually think this is necessary to balance out all the teams. Do you want Miami heat and Lakers keep on stacking star players? or do you want other teams to have chance to compete?

I'd love to see Rudy G on the raptors.

Are you complaining about GM's that are good managers?
Cause truth be told the raps GM has dropped the ball since Bosh left!
Derozen is overrated, Bargnani is never healthy.
Now personally I would trade Derozen and keep Bargnani if it were me.
I'd love to see Canada in the playoffs in the NBA again, but the GM has to be smart.
Rudy G on the raps is a good start, if they are gonna trade Calderon then who is gonna get Gay and the others shots?
Lowry is more a scoring point guard....

This does not make any sense to me; why decrease your chances to win now and into the future. Major mistake if Memphis make this move. This type of move is one that you don't recover from. Memphis is a better team with Gay as oppose to without Gay.

The Cavs are available! Offer them some first round picks.. prefer lottery, and its a done deal :)

How is Derozan overrated?? if Anything he is underrated... Bargnani is hands down VERY overrated. Since you like Bargnani so much maybe your beloved Heat could use him more then anything..

If it were me i would move bargnani to the 3 and let him have mismatches... he isn't suited to play the 4 or the 5... he is a decnet 3 pt shooter that would be better suited for the 3 which would mean more time for ed davis and amir johnson to play the 4 spot... jonus V when healthy could play the 5. it would also fill a spot that needs to be filled and can be spelled by derozen or ross.

Bargnani is too slow to play the 3 but it would be a good spot to put him at for 5-10 minutes a game if he ever attempted to rebound once in a while...
