05:12 PM ET 01.30 | Talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw went on the Today Show to discuss part of his interview with Ronaiah Tuiasosopo. McGraw says he believes that Tuiasosopo had feelings for Manti Te'o, and they extended toward romantic feelings. Tuiasosopo claims that he was the voice of Teo's fake girlfriend Lennay Kekua the whole time, and insists he acted alone without Teo's knowledge of any of the affair. The Tuiasosopo interview with Dr. Phil is scheduled to air on Thursday and Friday.

Defend what? Was there a crime committed? Were Te'o or Notre Dame involved in the creation of this hoax? I think I feel like many other "domers" about all this. Te'o is a naive kid that got caught up in a hoax and made some bad decisions about admitting it. Nothing more. Let's move on people...nothing more to see here...!

Right on, Gari. My thoughts exactly. Living in Hawaii with many in-law Hawaiian relatives I know the close old-style family relations among Hawaiins. Manti's level of naivte is not unique.
