07:42 PM ET 01.30 | LeBron James has never entered a dunk contest and one fan is trying to change that by raising $1 million to donate to James' charity. When James entered the NBA draft in 2003, he has become one of the league's most popular athletes. Ever since, fans can all reminisce James throwing down one of his ferocious dunks leaving them in awe for years. Those fans in turn want James to take his talents to the NBA slam-dunk contest during all-star weekend. Seems reasonable. But as you know, James never dunked. Last year, according to Royce Young of CBS Sports, James was confronted and asked why he never considered dunking, in the slam-dunk contest. James said that he's an in-game dunker, but everyone has a price. According to Sam Laird of Mashable, one fan has taken James seriously. That fan, twenty-eight-year-old, Chris Thomas, is trying to get James to reconsider.

The dunk contest has been horrible for years so he will probably win because he's the #1 in the NBA. Just like Griffin won for that horrible dunk.

I agree with him that he's an in-game dunker and the play itself makes the dunk cool to watch.

I still hope he does it. Who cares if you don't win? Have fun and don't be embarrassed if you don't succeed.

Bron has like two dunks in his arsenal but go for it anyway cause the Dunk Contest is seriously horrid.

Bribing a person via a charity. How ironic.

QUOTE(#8):

The dunk contest is the dullest part of All Star Weekend in my opinion. The dunk in general is nothing more that an ostentatious endeavor that says more about the players arrogance and apetite for underserved attention than anything else.Whether it be a monster dunk or a lay up, both are worth just 2 points. JUST PLAY THE GAME FOR THE SAKE OF THE GAME AND FORGET THE NONSENSE. I wouldn't care one bit if they got rid of the dunk contest all together.

It's a circus affair. No need to join the clowns.

If your mission in life is to raise money to see somebody else do something y're not living. Find yourself loser! I'm not writing this because I don't like Lebron or anything... LOL
