08:03 AM ET 01.31 | Beyond the Super Bowl, Ravens safety Ed Reed has a future to think about. [Reed] has all the respect in the world for Bill Belichick, and that sentiment is well-known to be mutual. So could Reed, who is scheduled to be a free agent this offseason, see himself playing for Belichick some day? "Yeah, oh yeah, man, I could definitely play for coach Belichick," Reed responded. "He is a great coach. I'm sure he can help me to expand my football knowledge even more as a player and as a coach, so if I'm ever able to be around him, just like I was at the Pro Bowl, it's huge. It's the reason why I wear my sweater cut off a little bit. ... Most people will tell you around the facility that's how I look. It's just a blessing to even have met, to know coach Belichick."

Couldn't Reed at least wiat until after the SB to start kigging the Hoodie's @ $ $ so they (Pats) sign him in the offseason????????
Or this could be a ploy to get the Ravens to offer him a better contract but again why start this now?????

Definitely.
The timing is strange, he doesn't usually start the crazy talk until the offseason.

Perhaps his failing memory caused this..he thought he was at a free agent press conference. This is VERY odd timing??

He don't want to play there. It would be like having Brady quarterback the Raven's offense and have Flacco as your backup, **** won't work.

He could play for Belichick, but he can't play for a coach that just guided him to the SB this year and was closer than the Pats last year.

Speaking of coming to the dark side - Reed it already on that side, age wise anyway. Sorry but his best years are behind him.
