08:09 AM ET 01.31 | Raptors president/general manager Bryan Colangelo may not be done dealing yet. Colangelo made his clearest statement yet that a divorce between he and Andrea Bargnani is closer than ever. ... Bargnani followed up the best season of his career -- albeit an injury-plagued one -- with a disastrous stretch this year, before getting hurt again. It has been obvious for some time that it is time for Bargnani to move on, for his sake and for the Raptors, and Colangelo indicated a move could happen soon, though it is not a certainty. "Andrea is a player that has definitely garnered interest. Unfortunately when he gets hurt that takes him off the market," Colangelo explained after breaking down the [Rudy Gay] trade to reporters.

After he is finished cleaning up his mess Colangelo will get fired and a new GM will come in with no room in the salary cap.

We now have too many swing players, Anderson, Ross, Gay, Fields. We need to make another move to trade for a big. We will take Gasol any day.

Don't quite understand the recent moves, bringing a guy (Gay) that need a strong point guard to complement his play in the open court and on design play, allowing Caldaron to leave for Detroit; a place where he will not be used or valued, when you have a team with a very soft middle and week bench, this trade does not make any sense other than to expect its a trade that values profit more than wins.

Speak for yourself... trading for Gasol would totally doom the Raptors for another 2-3 years. I should want nothing to do with Gasol and his contract. They can probably get away with trading Anderson now that he is slumping and they have Gay to take away most of his minutes for a serviceable Big

Agreed but it's Bargnani's softness and reluctance to even attempt to get a rebound that kills him. Plus the Italian community in the city of Toronto really spoils this kid and now he has this god complex about him... Trading him will benefit both parties involved but more so him then anything as I am sure the Raptors will not get equal value back in a trade for him..

The questions that come to mind are who would want a 10 million a year big man with multiple years left on his contract, that plays on offense like a SG/SF, has no interest in rebounding, and plays matador defense? You might as well put 2 SFs on the floor...at least they would play some D and try for a rebound occasionally.
