Rand Moss says he was blackballed by the Titans

03:47 PM ET 01.31 | Moss made quite an impression on teammates during his eight weeks with the Titans, but he made no difference on the field. He caught only six passes and did not have a touchdown. The Titans went 1-7 down the stretch. So why did the Moss experiment in Tennessee fail? The veteran wide receiver, now with the 49ers, said some of the coaches didn???t like him and he was ???blackballed.??? ???Why they claimed me, I really don???t know,??? Moss said Wednesday. ???There were some things where I could really tell I really wasn???t liked, and that was coming from the coaching staff. To be able to still make plays ??? there were some things going on in-house that I probably won???t speak upon until I write my book.??? Moss said he had a good relationship with Jeff Fisher, who was head coach at the time. Pressed about why he was disliked and which coaches disliked him, he said: ???I don???t want to get into that.???

moss just pulled a moss...you know..where he gives a particular team nothing. i mean...can't hide effort. we actually got to WATCH him on the field fail to produce. can't say they blackballed you when you gave little effort running routes...or even starting to run a route. just terrible. but that's how he does it

Oh wait Jerry Rice was the greatest of all time. My bad. No wonder he got blackballed. Guy is not the smartest speaker out there.

He's a knucklehead alright. That 'greatest receiver of all time' still cracks me up. The sad thing is, he could have been. If he'd of had Jerry Rice's work ethic and dedication to go with the physical talents, he almost surely would have given Jerry a run for the title of best ever.
