04:08 PM ET 01.31 | Vancouver Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo will make his third consecutive start for the team on Friday night when they challenge the Chicago Blackhawks. Prior to the start of the season, the Canucks had made it clear that they were interested in trading Luongo in order to allow Cory Schneider to become the goaltender of the future. While that plan might still be in effect, Schneider has failed to take control of the position, which has enable Luongo to regain faith in his abilities. Who knows, a goalie controversy might start up if Luongo continues the performance he recorded on Wednesday night when he shut out the Colorado Avalanche.
