04:46 PM ET 01.31 | Former Nebraska starting quarterback and Oregon wide receivers coach Scott Frost has been promoted to be the offensive coordinator for the Ducks in the wake of the departure of Chip Kelly.
Mark Helfrich followed in the footsteps of Kelly after the coach moved to the Philadelphia Eagles, being promoted from offensive coordinator to head coach. Now, Frost is up, moving into the top assistant role for one of the top offenses in the nation.

Very interesting!!! FWIW, Peyton Manning was the QB at Tennessee, when Scott Frost beat them in the Orange Bowl in 1997.

yep, a few years as oc at o, then a couple of years as hc at a middle of the pack team in a major conf. (hell, that could be nebraska, let's hope not.), then home as hc.
