08:14 AM ET 02.01 | So much for Alex Rodriguez sneaking meekly into retirement. In case there were any questions about his immediate plans -- and there shouldn't have been -- Rodriguez made it clear [Thursday] he intends to return to play baseball, just as he did prior to this week's explosive performance-enhancing drug development. There will be no early retirement. "Alex is working diligently on his rehabilitation and looks forward to getting back on the field as soon as possible," a source close to Rodriguez told The Post. ... [No] matter how badly the Yankees might want a divorce in some fashion, this marriage goes forward for now. The A-Rod saga only feels never-ending; it will eventually end at some juncture. But not yet.

Of course, he doesn't. This prima donna doesn't do anything quietly.

Yep....and unfortunately, this story is still in its infancy. How many FN threads will this story command before this drama plays out?

If they can prove that he's doing PEDS again then he should get a 100 game suspension. If they can't prove it then MLB ought to keep him in mind when surprise testing takes place. It's going to get to a place where the Yankees can do something about it and I can't wait.

i'm rather surprised teams cannot sue these players for fraud. I mean, come on. We are talking 252million dollars Arod defrauded the yankees. The yankees purchased this product, only to find out that it was artificial product made from illegal drugs. It would be like a normal person using drug money to buy google.
There must be some lawyer that can prove that arod's ped's has negatively affected the financial line of the team (even the yankees)..
