08:21 AM ET 02.01 | While there are some similarities at the top of the Texas and Alabama programs -- the ADs and coaches share the same age -- no one would confuse them these days. These aren't your 2005 Longhorns, and it's eating [DeLoss Dodds] up. "People don't think I have a burn about it," said Dodds about the three-year decline. "I have a burn about it. I want to win just like the kids do and the coaches do. The fans want it bad; we want it more." ... [Dodds said Mack Brown] has a burn that's strong enough to convince him that he's the right coach for UT. "I see more of a burn. He wants it bad," Dodds said. "I've seen it since two years ago. We just got in a position where we didn't win as many games as we've been winning. We'll get out of it."

Or heartburn, where's the plop-plop fizz-fizz?

I thought it was the kind of burn best treated with witch hazel pads, or maybe Preparation H.

This, exactly. If you didn't have "burn" to win, why would you be in coaching?

this year determines mack's future with the horns. he needs to get back on track and show improvement or it may be his last in austin. he won't survive 4 bad years at UT!

Go to the doctor and get a shot.

Oh, come on fellas, Texas needs to keep Mack so the slide continues.
He really does live up to that phrase of 'doing less with more' and don't forget that other programs are keeping a close eye on the high school offensive players whose names are not McCoy or Young and have only 3*s that Mack is offering a schollie to play for UT as a defensive back. You know like the past two Heisman winners that won for playing offense.
