08:25 AM ET 02.01 | Logan Couture opened the scoring Thursday night, punctuating the celebration in creative and contemporary. The third-year All-Star skated to the corner boards, kissed his bicep Colin Kaepernick-style, and waited for a swarm of teammates as the Sharks took a 1-0 lead. Although they surrendered a 2-0 lead in regulation, Michal Handzus and Dan Boyle scored in a shootout, as San Jose kicked the extra point to improve to a perfect 7-0-0. ... As for Couture, he started smiling even before the question about his celebration move honoring the 49ers' dynamic quarterback was asked. "It's a Bay Area team that's in the Super Bowl, so, just showed some support for those guys," he said. "Obviously, the team around here -- we're rooting for them."

He said hello to Staal's helmet with his stick behind the net in yesterday's game.

Is this before or after Staal attacked him because Malkin was playing til the whistle. Did we miss Staal's slash to Malkin's arm too? Hmm.

While you are searching for some video, make sure you find the video of Del Zotto's hit on Crosby.

But only the Pens' play dirty.

Kay.

So is that an admission that Malkin clocked him in the head with his stick?

Don't have either horse in the race and never said only the Pens play dirty...just find it ridiculous that a lousy football celebration copied by a hockey player takes priority over something that is much bigger.

You tell me what the call is there. Is it interference? No. Is it hooking? No. Is it tripping? No. Is it boarding? No.

Sorry to disappoint you.

And if this was an attempt to insult...you missed your mark. But I am sure you will try again.

How so?

I have been critical of them/and made a remark of the captain on another thread. I can also stick up for them if I like, as well.

And as far as the personal insults, I won't take part.
