Sharks owner 'You cannot make money with a hockey team"

12:07 PM ET 02.01 | San Jose Sharks majority owner Hasso Plattner recently acquired an even larger stake in the franchise, and stated that despite the team having a bit of a financial shortfall in recent seasons the Sharks remain committed to winning a Cup. He doesn't expect to earn much money from that success, however, stating, ""You cannot make money with a hockey team. You cannot make money with a hotel, either, and you cannot make money with a golf club. I have all three of them." Plattner, who is worth $7.2 billion, has stated his deep pockets and good credit rating will help keep the team afloat.
