03:53 PM ET 02.01 | Augustus Edwards, one of the top players out of the state of New York, has decommitted from Syracuse and is considering Florida State and Miami. Edwards had been committed to the Orange since July, but after head coach Doug Marrone left to take over the Buffalo Bills, he decided to consider his options. He stands 6'1 and weighs in at 222 pounds. Edwards is a consensus three-star player, and he is listed at fullback and running back by various recruiting services. Scout ranks him as the No 46 running back in the country, but Rivals lists Edwards as the nation's top fullback.

Nice. It's good to see a kid who plays in the PSAL with offers from top schools.
