LeBron James: I'm not paid what I'm worth

08:49 AM ET 02.02 | LeBron James doesn't think it's possible to be paid his actual value under the current NBA rules. Because of it, he said, he's been willing to "sacrifice" on his contracts. James and teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all took less than the maximum salary when they signed three years ago. That should enable the Heat to keep them together next season, even with the new tax rules. James doesn't believe they have gotten credit for that decision. "I have not had a full max deal yet in my career -- that's a story untold," James said. "I don't get (the credit) for it. That doesn't matter to me; playing the game is what matters to me. Financially, I'll sacrifice for the team. It shows for some of the top guys, it isn't all about money. That's the genuine side of this, it's about winning. I understand that."

It's gotta suck for the heat trio when guys like Joe Johnson are making more money than you.
Then again like Bron said it's about winning.
Most guys are only about the money, it's not how much you make it's what you do with what you make, Iverson had a year 5 20 mil contract....he is broke, Shaq had the same contract and used his head wisely not stupidly.
Back to the topic though, not every player is into winning, they just want money to blow it on 10 cars, 11 mil houses they can't afford(due to the taxation) and 20 girlfriends...

Sounds like collusion to me that the 3 heat players took less money to play together. Might have been a little pre-planning on how much each needs to take.

It's not collusion when Boston does it cause they are older though....

QUOTE(#1):

LTCF says Lebron got a max deal.

LTCF is blinded by his belief he knows more than anyone. It should be clear that, at least in one case, mine, that that is not true. In fact, I am superior to him in intelligence, knowledge, and almost all other human qualities including a humble sense of self-awareness. (One can still be humble,or even have low self-esteem, and consider oneself superior to LTCF).

In other news the raps are undefeated with Gay.
LOL
I think they can make a push for the playoffs.
The celtics without Rondo will be exposed shortly, and will the sixers ever get Bynum?
Will the bucks truly go on a win streak?
