A reason for the NBA's All-Star Weekend success is that there is a little bit over everything out there for the fans of the game. If you enjoy the pure shooing of the game, powerful dunks or slick ball-handling skills, All-Star weekend has just what you desire. Next week, participants will be announced for the Dunk Contest, the Three-Point Contest, the Skills Competition. One of the names expected to be announced is Portland Trail Blazers rookie point guard Damian Lillard. Lillard, who is averaging 18.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists through 45 games this season, is also going to participate in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge.
