03:53 PM ET 02.02 | The USC Trojans announced that they moved back their Pro Day, which was originally scheduled for March 12. According to NFL Draft expert Tony Pauline, the move was made to give quarterback Matt Barkley time to be sure he is prepared to throw for the workout. Barkley will also not be throwing at the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis "It seems to be the trend not to (throw at the combine), and I don't feel that I have to," Barkley said. "We'll see when that time gets closer. It will be more of a game-day decision. I don't feel I have to necessarily prove anything." Barkley is still recovering from a right shoulder sprain and will not take part in any of the workouts. There is no official date for USC's rescheduled Pro Day, but March 27 is a rumored date making the rounds. That should give Barkley plenty of time to fully recover and show off his arm for NFL scouts.

Great decision! I mean he had such a great final season at USC. Wait a minute...I take that back.

Good kid from everything I've read. That injury sure has hampered him for a while though. I agree, probably should have gone last year but hindsight is 20/20.

It would be soooooo easy to dump on this guy, but I just cannot do it. He came back for his final season and that should be cheered by anyone. No, his last year was not great, but that does not mean he cannot be a good QB in the NFL. It could be any number of things that made his game take a step back this year.

Selfless kid. Came back for his teammates. Yeah it didn't work out, but you have never heard him throw around blame. Whoever drafts him, already has a first class kid. Good luck on Sundays Matt. You deserve it.

I'm telling you, Dallas should draft him. Trader Jerry loves a "value picks" and this kid's draft status has value written all over it.

He looks like he has the skills, if he's available when the Giants draft in the second round I'd grab him! But who am I, bet The Pats scoop him up!!!

Domer agreement. Good grounded kid. As Van say Kiffen owes him an apology (really the whole USC family as well as Volunteer nation).

Who can he blame for throwing 50 INT's? He can blame his crappy defense for losing the Oregon game, but there's no sense in blaming his crappy O-line for letting him get smashed at the end of the fUCLA game. USC would have had a better chance if that happened on the first play, not his last, anyway.

If Barkley thinks his senior year is going to raise his draft chances, he needs to watch the his films more closely.
