09:20 AM ET 02.03 | A very close associate of LeBron James disputed a report suggesting Rich Paul, his Ohio-based agent, will lobby James to return to Cleveland as a free agent in 2014, when James has an opt-out clause. "LeBron is his own man, and Rich only cares about what LeBron wants," the associate insisted. "LeBron loves it [in Miami]." But nobody is absolutely ruling out Cleveland, either.

If Kyrie keeps playing like he is now Lebron is gonna have to get in line! I feel that if Lebron ever came back to Cleveland his experience (along with his friends) would be much different than before. I expect it to be a lot like when he went to Miami, he'll be the best player on the Cavs but it'll be Kyries team and the city won't let him forget it.

If Kyrie can overcome the Glass issue. He's got AI skills; such fun to watch. Hopefully his head is much better that AI's.

Great point!
I really don't believe Lebron will go back to Cleveland, now LA on the other hand? He LOVES the spotlight and no light shines brighter than LA.

The kid is 20, hes only going to improve in pretty much every category. And EVERY team that plays Cleveland has already game planned to stop Kyrie as he is their only consistent scoring threat. Basically cut off the head and the body will die philosophy.
Sure the Cavs have a poor record but when your second best player goes down for an extended period of time it's hard for almost any team to compete, especially a team loaded with rookie starters.
As for "pressure games", every game is a pressure game when you have the third worst record in the league!

I don't know if you have seen him play very much, jgb. He's very much like Iverson who incidentally took an otherwise pretty hapless team pretty far. His big issue seem to be fragility. But I think despite the constant hyperbolic claims about all things Cleveland from some Cavs homers with Irving I'm not sure it's not on the mark with this kid. He's a spectacular offensive talent. You are are citing all the usual canards that usually apply (but did not for Allen Iverson); maybe you're right. But maybe not. Cleveland may have got two lightning strikes since 2000.

If anybody wants some good reading, check out the end of the Lebron thread form yesterday... it got a little weird.

I havent' seen Kyrie play, but he sounds like he's got a bit of DRose in him. Rose only averaged 7.7 assists his MVP year which isn't in line with a protypical PG. You'd like to see more but you can be very successfull with only 7.7 a game.
Maybe Kyrie will follow that arch instead of the AI arch of chucker.
