Badgers land top JUCO quarterback

03:19 PM ET 02.04 | Wisconsin has landed another quarterback prospect from another school in Tanner McEvoy, the top dual threat junior college quarterback in the nation.

McEvoy had committed to South Carolina out of high school, but ended up at Arizona Western. He was also considering Florida, Oregon, and West Virginia.

The Badgers have made a habit of bringing in signal-callers from other institutions: first it was Russel Wilson, who won a Big Ten championship with Wisconsin after leaving NC State before making his name with the Seattle Seahawks. This past year, they hoped for similar success with Maryland transfer Danny O'Brien, but he fell down the depth chart. Wisconsin currently has no other quarterbacks in their 2013 class.
