04:45 PM ET 02.04 | Minnesota Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic will be a restricted free agent after this season, and he's quietly become a hot commodity in a pool of big men on the market that includes Andrew Bynum, Dwight Howard and Al Jefferson. One potential destinations should Pekovic not re-sign with the Timberwolves could be Portland. The Trail Blazers will likely go after a starting center, and Chris Haynes of CSN Northwest reports that Pekovic is simply happy to receive such interest. "That's really nice when you hear that other teams like Portland really want to bring you in," Pekovic told CSNNW.com. "I'm really happy that everybody is talking about [my game] because after my first year, I could have never imagined people talking about me like this," he said.
