05:41 PM ET 02.04 | The Detroit Lions announced the release of wide receiver Titus Young on Monday afternoon, parting ways with the 2011 second round pick after just two years. Despite being reasonably productive during his time in the Motor City, Young had numerous off-field incidents while with the franchise. He also voiced his problems with the team to the public through his Twitter feed in recent weeks, further damaging his relationship with the team. In two years with the Lions, Young caught 81 passes for 990 yards and 10 touchdowns.

I really wonder how Schwartz will last in Detroit given the number of low IQ knuckleheads he has to coach. I'm not absolving him for his own immature transgressions, just saying that I'm not if some of the leagues sternest coaches could do anything with that crew.
