08:06 AM ET 02.05 | Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings may soon have a decision to make, and he'll be doing so with new representation. [Jennings] is dropping agent Bill Duffy, and two people familiar with the situation told CBSSports.com on Monday that the soon-to-be restricted free agent will sign with New York-based Jeff Schwartz. ... Jennings will be one of the top restricted free agents on the market this summer, and his hiring of Schwartz could be ominous for the Bucks. ... Schwartz, who also represents Nets point guard Deron Williams, Clippers star Blake Griffin, Celtics star Paul Pierce and other top NBA players at Excel Sports Management, is a noted proponent of the added endorsement income and opportunities that the NBA's largest cities can provide.

Jennings is a small time player and thus, belongs in a small market team. Only playing 'moderately' well when his contract is on the line. Says a lot about his attitude.

It was bound to happen. There is no way the Jennings would want to remain on a small market team headed nowhere fast. Sure they are doing somewhat decent now, but it is rather doubtful that they will get any better than they are now. Because of the team's location, The Bucks neither have the resources to keep or attract marquee free agents. Their best bet is to sell high with Jennings and send him to New York via sign and trade for a player like Raymond Felton along with roster fillers such as Iman Shumpert, Steve Novak, and JR Smith, along with a first round pick.
The Bucks and their fans need to face reality and the sad fact is that sooner or later, they will be without the serbvices of Brandon Jennings. At least this way they can get something in return before it is too late.

Cleveland and Miami are both small market teams compared to New York or Los Angeles... so your proposition is a bit out left...

I don't know how the Knicks will retain Smith but they'll figure something out. Horrible trade. Jennings isn't that good.
