06:12 PM ET 02.05 | The New England Patriots are hesitant to give cornerback Aqib Talib a multi-year contract, according to a staff report at Comcast SportsNet New England. Talib, who the Patriots acquired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in November, is set to be a free agent in March. According to the story, Talib "displayed no behavioral problems during his time with the Patriots" but the team is still worried about a multi-year contract.

No question that the secondary improved significantly when he started playing and when he went out with the injured leg in the AFC Championship game it was right back to square one.
