05:40 PM ET 02.05 | New York Giants linebacker Michael Boley might be looking for a new city to call home. According to reports, the Giants have released Boley, who was set to earn over $4 million in 2013. Earlier this week Ed Valentine of SB Nation's Big Blue View called a Boley a candidate to get cut. Boley was benched by Giants head coach Tom Coughlin for New York's final three games last year, and had limited playing time off the bench each week. Despite the benching, Boley appeared in 16 games for the Giants, recording 92 tackles, intercepting three passes and forcing two fumbles.

Boley is average at best and certainly not worth $4 million. But the Giants have been weak at LB since Antonio Pierce retired, and they'd better get someone to play that spot.
