Pau angling for trade after season?

07:42 PM ET 02.05 | Pau Gasol and Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni haven't seen eye to eye. Neither appears to be taking their disagreements too personally, but it's clear that the Los Angeles forward isn't happy with his role as a bench player under D'Antoni. It's also clear that D'Antoni doesn't think using Gasol in the starting lineup is an option moving forward. So with that, Gasol wondered to the Los Angeles Times' T.J. Simers about what the future might hold. Gasol has one year left on his contract after this season, and while Los Angeles likely won't be wheeling and dealing its key players this year, Gasol told Simers he might ask for a trade this summer if the Lakers retain both D'Antoni and center Dwight Howard. "It would be hard for me to deal with another season knowing the facts you just mentioned," Gasol told Simers, mentioning Howard and D'Antoni returning.

With DH out coach-D should learn a little about what Pau can do.
Whatever job you do you have to be able to adjust and get better as things change.
If he is not smart enough to adapt and make adjustments then there is no place for the mustache in the NBA...

Damn ...the Nets cant beat the Lakers without Howard and World (jab)!!

Oh poor Lakers... they've set themselves up for disaster before next season even starts. In the good book it saids.. go to the ant thou sluggard... study his ways and be wise. In other words if you have two great players at the same position have one come from the bench.

Just look at how Knicks are doing it. Amare is 100 times better than Pau, yet he's humbly accepted his bench role, scoring efficiently and the team is winning.

Swallow your ego Pau... you can be a positive force that puts the team over the top if you accept your role and make the best of it. LA will dominate again with you coming in from the bench. Kobe has accepted his role as distributor so it's now up to Pau to make it work...

The Los Angeles Lakers will miss the playoffs this year. Mike D???Antoni is not the right fit for this team. Read more at: http://the-nba-insider.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-los-angeles-lakers-will-mi ss-2013.html

Another Use to Be superstar speaks out. Pau only has himself to blame for become Kobe's lacky of the past few seasons. That's what you get. Kobe is loyal though, but that's simple because Pau has shown Kobe that he'll kiss his you know what, no matter what goes down. Hope you have enough left in the tank to make a trade for another team worth the effort.
