Kobe: Players need to 'educate' themselves about NBPA

07:40 PM ET 02.05 | Billy Hunter spent 16 years as the NBA Player's Association executive director, but after a report found that he allegedly misused his power through questionable business practices, he could be about to see the end of his career. On Feb. 15, the union will decide Hunter's fate. Now, it's a matter of how much NBA players know about Hunter and the report. And how much they care. Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant told CBS Sports' Ken Berger that he was admittedly ignorant to the full 469-page report on Hunter. Those findings included favoritism, questionable use of the union's resources and more, though Hunter was not accused of any criminal offenses. Bryant said that players will have to find time to get a summary of the report before they take a stance on the matter. The union will meet during the All-Star break. "I'm pretty ignorant to what the issues are going to be when we show up, so I don't know," Bryant told CBS. "I'm pretty sure most of the players are, so we'll have to educate ourselves. Will a vote come? Probably. We've just got to make sure we're educated enough to make the right the decision."
