07:45 PM ET 02.05 | Titus Young wanted out of Detroit and has wanted out for a while, and now his wish has been granted. The former second-round draft pick was waived by the Lions on Monday and has been claimed today by the St. Louis Rams on Tuesday. But while it didn't take long for Young to be claimed by the Rams, don't be fooled by the illusion that Young was a hot commodity on the waiver wire. All 32 NFL teams had a chance to place a claim on Young, even if a team ahead of them had already placed a claim. Of all the teams in the NFL, the Rams were the only team to put in a claim for the troubled wideout; meaning, while Young is talented, it turns out had the Rams not claimed him, it would have been harder than we thought for Young to find work again in football.
