07:52 PM ET 02.05 | Ted Ginn Jr. was one of a few members of the San Francisco 49ers to not point fingers or cause a ruckus over the loss in Super Bowl XLVII. But while Junior is staying quite, his father of the same name is more than making up for his son's silence. After watching his son play virtually no role in the outcome of Sunday's Super Bowl, Ted Ginn Sr. thinks it's time his son parts way with the Niners and "finds a home." Tim Warsinskey of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer spoke with Ginn's father, who told him his son wasn't used in San Francisco and that it's time for him to move on from the franchise, seeing as, in his eyes, they clearly don't want him. If you're expecting a season-long battle between the Niners' front office and Ginn, don't worry about it. Ginn is a free agent this offseason and will be free to sign wherever he pleases. For the record, a return to the Niners is not out of the question as only Ginn's father has voiced displeasure with the franchise, not Ginn Jr. himself. But while a return to San Francisco isn't off the table in terms of options this offseason, there are better destinations for the special teamer.

Sorry, but your son is one of the smaller fish in that big pond.

Move him to a smaller pond if you think that will make him feel better.
