07:52 PM ET 02.05 | Phoenix Suns interim coach Lindsey Hunter doesn't know how he fell into the team's open spot to replace former coach Alvin Gentry, but he's not worrying about it. The team picked Hunter, formerly a player development coordinator, instead of long-time assistants Elston Turner and Dan Majerle as the interim coach. Though the future could see the team rehire Hunter or look outside the organization for a bigger name to lead the Suns, Hunter said what he's been doing his whole life is what he'll do now. He's going to fight for his spot, and the story will play out from there. "You got to fight," Hunter said. "No matter what, you have to battle and people have to know that win, lose or draw they have something on their hands. That's the way I approach this thing and that's the reason why they chose me."
