Ex-teammate: Ray Lewis didn't earn Super Bowl paycheck

07:54 PM ET 02.05 | Ray Lewis is a Super Bowl champion once again, which means love him or hate him, he's still on the top of the sports world. But while Lewis has secured his legacy with his second Super Bowl ring, one former teammate is saying Lewis may have the ring but he hardly earned his paycheck for the game. Trevor Pryce, who played with Lewis for five years, told Jim Rome that while we think Lewis is finishing his career on the highest note possible, he actually may have played his worst game ever. Nevertheless, Lewis has his second Super Bowl ring and he's solidified himself as one of the greatest players to ever have played the game of football. Some people may not like it, and the ride may have gotten awkward at times this postseason, but nothing can take Ray Lewis' legacy away.

...and you didn't play at all, Trevor. I'd rather have my "worst game ever" as a Super Bowl winner than be on Jim Rome busting out the sour grapes.

What he said was true. Lewis was at best a non-factor. I see the problem as being none of the talking heads would dare ruin Lewis' farewell by saying so. Someone finally spoke up; too bad it's, as you say, taken as sour grapes.

I can't stand Ray Lewis, when he talks I change the channel, but ill tell you Pryce or anyone else he might physically be a shadow of him self but he called those defensive signals and on a short field like a goal line stand he's as quick as anyone, all you have to do is be in the right place at the right time and I can't stand the SOB!
