08:03 AM ET 02.06 | Coming out of Super Bowl weekend, NFL teams turn their attention to 2013, and in Denver the front office has already reported back to work. [The Broncos] face a decision on Willis McGahee. He finished the season on injured reserve and was tied for the league lead in lost fumbles at the position when he suffered his injury. He also will turn 32 years old during the 2013 season. He has two years remaining on his four-year deal with the team, but the Broncos want more size at the position. McGahee and Knowshon Moreno have both missed time with injuries over the last two years. There also is the matter of middle linebacker, where Keith Brooking is 37 and an unrestricted free agent.

Peyton doesn't need a RB. He can make an avg RB look good.

That's OK...
Right now - only 4 of them. By the end of the day - around 30 (10 of them repeats).

Why Karma?

The Broncos speak out of both sides of their mouth. They're cold when it comes to releasing players and Willis is just another example. Can't build much team chemistry with that culture. It's John Elway's way.

32 is like 92 in running back years. Coming off an injury, too. Somebody will pick him up, but Denver needs to go big while Peyton is still effective.

What about that RB that was taking direct snaps two season's ago? Seems like the Jets don't want him anymore

True... Hard to muster up a comment on them.

Practically every team turns over 20 or more of their players each year. That is the nature of the league. Also, it's not like McGahee has been with the Broncos for 10 years.

They will get Hillman to bulk up to 175 lbs and that will be their desperately needed big running back.

Nah, Hillman needs to get to at least 205. He is currently @ 195.

If you don't think every single team in the league operates in the same manner than you are clueless.

Don't think Hillman is the big back they're looking for, but I am excited about his future.

32 is old now a days in running back years.
Willis should be the #2 in Denver, but Willis himself may not want that.

At 32 and with fumbleitis and prior injuries, his options are limited.
