So what's the problem with pushing the idea of a blockbuster trade between Denver and Boston? Wielding the hammer of a no-trade clause, K.G. wants nothing to do with the Nuggets. And, in a nutshell, that represents the big issue for franchise executive Masai Ujiri in building a championship contender. ... It's a nice dream. Through his representatives, Garnett has let it be known he has no current interest in the Nuggets. Don't be surprised, however, if Garnett is gone from Boston before the league's Feb. 21 trade deadline. And that's why the Nuggets must continue to monitor the situation.

Can't blame KG for not being interested. After all, the Denver Nuggets have gone absolutely nowhere for close to a decade. If the Cletics want him to rescind his no trade clause, they will have to do better than that.

KG doesn't want to be traded to a team where it would be obvious he is over the hill. The Celtics have so many problems that no one is pointing a finger at Garnett.

And any team that gives up significant young talent or draft picks for him is run by fools.
