06:10 PM ET 02.06 | With a 23-26 record not long before the All Star break, the Los Angeles Lakers aren't in a great position, but at least one great former player believes they'll find a find a way to reach the postseason. In a recent interview, former Lakers player and executive Jerry West, now a consultant with Golden State, said that he thinks the Lakers are going to make the playoffs. "Look out West, there are some teams two or three games over .500, so they can do it? ... Can the Lakers win the championship? They have to get to the playoffs first, and I think they will get there." West also added that once in the postseason, the Lakers are "going to be dangerous."
