06:49 PM ET 02.06 | There is some tragic news to report from the NFL world today. San Francisco 49ers tight end Delanie Walker passed along the sad news today that his aunt and uncle were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver following Super Bowl XLVII. The fatal accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on I-10. For Walker, he goes from one of the greatest experiences of his life to a horrible moment. The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Houston resident Nechole Thomas, faces two counts of vehicular homicide, DWI and reckless operation. The alleged drunk driver escaped with minor injuries. We cannot even begin to image the pain that Walker is dealing with. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Walker and his entire family.
