"Anybody who knows the game and actually has seen me play before knows that I'm actually a good player, and not just a dunker," the 6-foot-7 forward said [when he signed with the Knicks. But here's the thing: White is not just a dunker; he's arguably the best dunker on the planet. You may have never heard of the 30-year-old because he averages 1.8 points per game for the Knicks, in his third season in the league since 2006. ... "A lot of people haven't seen James," his Knicks teammate Carmelo Anthony said. "He's the best-kept secret." That will likely change on Feb. 16 in Houston, when White could take the biggest stage of his life -- the All-Star Dunk Contest.

White is a known great dunker going back to his McDonald HS all-american days. He is capable of doing some insane dunks from the freethrow line. His dunk ability is way above his overall game and part of the reason he never managed to stay in the NBA directly out of college. To put him in the dunk contest is a good thing even though he hasn't had highlights dunks. Ross and Green should be in it as well.

He won in highschool. the dunks James White does now can't be matched by Lee LOL!!! look at his stuff from international slamdunk contest particularly the one with him against Gerald Green and tell me anybody can touch that stuff... That contest where Lee won was BS also... no way Lee should've won that one... you all can view for yourself and I'm sure you all would agree with me..
