Will it be fight night in Chicago?

08:26 AM ET 02.07 | For the most part, both teams are saying the right things in advance of Chicago-Phoenix, in which Raffi Torres will face Marian Hossa for the first time since the former knocked the latter out for months with a concussion. As far as how emotions run [Thursday] night, it's anyone's guess. But it's likely to be more focus than fireworks. The Blackhawks dealt with a similar situation recently; the Vancouver Canucks were as unhappy with Duncan Keith for his elbow to Daniel Sedin's head as the Blackhawks were with Torres for his hit on Hossa. But the Canucks also said it was in the past, and that retaliation, especially in a 48-game season where every point counts, just didn't make sense.

maybe not flagrant retaliation, but maybe let Torres know he hasn't "been forgotten"
Of course, the way the refs are calling games this seasonso far, dumb articles like this are sure to have them ...overly cautious

Who were the Canucks gonna dress to retaliate on Keith? Schneider? My guess - Torres gets it.

...but that's because the Canucks are little sissies.

I really don't see a problem as the league secretly had Raffi neutered a la Matt Cooke.

Someone will give Torres a little "reminder" by his second shift on the ice

From what I've seen this year, it seems that they are letting the obvious stuff go, but calling the little picky stuff.

I think they'll wait til Chicago is up four goals then they'll start running around. The Hawks play to smart for that stuff.

Boston Montreal went by with a whimper for the most part, I expect the same with game. Unless Hossa picks a fight with Torres.....

The Hawks really have no "enforcer".......except Brandon Bollig.....they have some psycho in the minors who fans want up...Kyle Beach....but I guess he's not mentally stable enough...lol

Usually these big build-ups wind up with a fizzle and not much happening. I don't think this is going to amount to much at all tonight. But, I've been wrong before........usually on days ending in "y".

If Probert was there, and still with us, this would be a fun game to watch.

the fact that the Canucks didn't take an instigator penalty to bash in Duncan Keith's head speaks volumes about what sissies they are.
I love Keith, he's an incredible player...but the hit on Sedin was bush league and the NHL didn't step in and do the right thing. The least the Nucks coulda done was take retribution. It's clear that they didn't learn from their finals escapade vs the Bruins.

Very true....plus the refs usually are aware of all the talk and buildup surrounding a "rematch" like this...and the teams will keep it clean for the most part.
Not that I wouldn't be surprised to see someone take a few liberties with Torres.....
