02:58 PM ET 02.07 | Gregg Williams was reinstated by the NFL on Thursday, and officially hired by the Tennessee Titans as a senior assistant. He will aid Tennessee defensive coordinator Jerry Gray. Williams' official title with the Titans is "Special Assistant/Defense." Williams was suspended for the entire 2012 season for his role in the New Orleans Saints' bounty scandal. The NFL's investigation into the bounty system revealed that Williams founded the system in New Orleans, offering players money for "cart-offs" and "knockouts."

I'm glad they're letting him come back. Every player is scrutinized on every play, and not just by the refs and the officials in the replay booth, but also by the league, the fans, sportswriters, and many others.
These guys aren't going to risk contracts worth millions for a few thousand dollars. Like, would Suh need what amounts to a few dollars (compared to his paychecks) to step on someone? Or that Brady would have kicked people more often if only he got a buck every time he did?
These guys are trying to physically impose their wills on one another.
