05:13 PM ET 02.07 | New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan will play in the team's game against the New York Islanders on Thursday night. This will be Callahan's first game since suffering a shoulder subluxation against the Philadelphia Flyers on Jan. 29. Callahan suffered the injury while attempting to engage in a fight with Philadelphia forward Maxime Talbot. Following the injury, Callahan was projected to miss any where between 10-14 days. On Feb. 4 he resumed practicing in non-contact drills and apparently has progressed to such an extent that he will be able to play on Thursday night. With Callahan reinserted into the lineup, Brian Boyle will be scratched in order to free up a roster spot.

I think Powe will take over a lot of Cally's duties as he gets eased back into his role.
